We are saddened to announce the unexpected death of our Founder and Chairman, Amit Chatterjee. Amit passed away at the age of 39, on 9 May 2023 at his home in Connecticut. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him and more so by those who worked with him to build Shadow Factory. Amit was an amazing son, brother, friend, founder, and leader. Building Shadow Factory was his mission, and he loved the team and the community of clients and investors that supported him. He will be remembered for his vision and the joy he brought to the process of innovation.

Amit founded Shadow Factory in 2016, and with his management team shepherded the company’s growth in Hong Kong and more recently the US. He was at the forefront of developing cutting edge, technology solutions for clients spanning creative, manufacturing, and entertainment sectors. Under Amit’s leadership, Shadow Factory grew from a startup company into a trusted partner for global brands.
