Shadow Factory partnered with Women of Hong Kong (WOHK) to help engage attendees at their first-anniversary event in the city. Building a beautiful, bespoke Augmented Reality social filter, we inspired guests to share their experiences on social media and help spread the word about the groundbreaking event. And in only a few days, we accumulated almost 32,500 impressions with an average use time of over a minute.
Guests accessed the filter by scanning QR codes found on promotional material or via links shared on social media. And by sharing their AR photos on Instagram, they stood a chance to win prizes at the event.

From design and asset creation to filter production, functionality, and delivery, we worked within a tight timeline to deliver the bespoke social experience. The filter consisted of a carousel selection tool, five different style frames, animated glitter, and a beautifying effect.

WOHK is Hong Kong’s first all-inclusive network for women. Encouraging collaboration amongst their members, they facilitate opportunities and humanize networking in both professional and personal settings. They have grown to create a safe and supportive space for women to thrive.
