Shadow Factory Shoots a Hole-In-One at WAGS Golf for Good

Golf can be rough. That's why Shadow Factory partnered with Wednesday Afternoon Golf Society (WAGS) to help all golfers hitting the links for the annual “Golf for Good” competition at Kau Sai Chau Golf Course have a tee-riffic time.

Setting up camp on hole 10, Shadow Factory showcased a custom–built Augmented Reality Instagram filter—which we’ve tee-d it up for you, just click here—that gave all participants an instant bird’s eye view of the course. Complete with animated birds, weather, and a roaming golf buggy, the filter literally (and digitally) lets players call the shots.

“The Golf for Good event presented yet another opportunity for our team to stretch our creative legs. And it was a pleasure to bring the “wow” to WAGS with an Augmented Reality experience that has now teed up a lot of interesting conversations with industry leaders that previously never considered AR a brand solution.” - Ric Dunn, Creative Director.

The Crazy Possible team at Shadow Factory were responsible for the concept, design, 3D modeling, animation, and delivery of the custom AR filter for Instagram.
